    Browse the calendar by city or age group. Mixers run Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons, from San Francisco and Oakland to San Jose, Walnut Creek and Livermore, and new dates go up every week.

    Add your name and email and you're all set. Most mixers are free to attend, and the RSVP is always free. It simply lets Adeline know you're coming.

What is a singles mixer?

A singles mixer is a relaxed night at a bar, brewery or wine bar where everyone in the room is single and there to meet people. There are no timed rounds and no assigned partners. You mingle at your own pace.

Do I have to pay to RSVP?

No. RSVPs are always free. Most mixers are free entry, and the paid ones are usually $10 at the door, paid when you arrive.

Can I come by myself?

Yes, and plenty of people do. Mixers are built for walking in alone, and everyone in the room is there to meet new people.

How old do I need to be?

Most mixers are 21 & Up. Some are for a specific age group, like 35 & Up or 50 & Up, and the age range is listed on every event.

What ages typically attend Singles Mingle events?

When an event is listed as 21 & Up, that simply means 21 is the minimum age. It does not mean the event is geared toward people in their 20s.

After hosting Singles Mingle events for over three years, I’ve found that the predominant age range at my open-age events is typically around 30–65.

Every event is different, so I can’t guarantee a specific age range or age mix. Many people discover Singles Mingle through advertising and attend without RSVPing, which makes it impossible to know exactly who will be there ahead of time.

Where are the mixers held?

All over the Bay Area and beyond, including San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, San Jose, Walnut Creek, Concord, Pleasanton, Livermore and San Rafael. Each event lists the venue and city, and the cities page groups them by area.

Is this speed dating?

No. A Singles Mingle night is an open mixer, not speed dating. Nobody rings a bell or keeps score. You talk to whoever you click with for as long as you like.
