Where Oakland Mixers Have Landed in 2026
The Oakland lineup this year has been a mix of breweries and bars. Mad Oak hosted a mixer in June and came back for another in October. Oakland United Brewing held an LGBTQ+ mixer in May, then an age edition in July with $10 at the door. Brix Factory Brewing had its turn in May.
Not every date makes it. An April night at Mad Oak was canceled, and the calendar said so plainly. That is how Adeline runs things: if plans change, the event page changes with them, so check it the day of.
Each venue gets its own event page with the address, the time window and whether entry is free or paid at the door. Spend a minute there before you head out.
The Night Singles Mingle Went to a Ballers Game
In July the Oakland mixer moved outdoors. Singles Mingle met up at an Oakland Ballers baseball game, and the tickets were free. A ballgame is an easy setting for meeting new people. There is always something to talk about, nobody has to fill a silence, and cheering for the home team does a lot of the icebreaking for you.
Specials like this are part of what keeps the calendar fun. Halloween mixers and a library mixer in San Mateo have joined the list this year too. When something new is planned for Oakland, it will land on the events calendar first.
Getting Around Oakland on Mixer Night
BART is the easy answer for most people. Oakland is dotted with stations: 12th Street Oakland City Center and 19th Street Oakland downtown, Lake Merritt, MacArthur, Rockridge, West Oakland, Fruitvale and Coliseum. Find the venue address on the event page, then pick whichever station sits closest.
Driving works too. I-880, I-580 and I-980 all cut through town, and Highway 24 brings you down from the Caldecott Tunnel side. AC Transit buses fill in the gaps. Uptown, Jack London Square, Temescal, Grand Lake and Old Oakland each feel like their own small town, so give yourself a few extra minutes if you do not know the neighborhood.
Crowds and Editions on the Oakland Calendar
Most Oakland mixers are 21 & Up, open to any single adult who wants a fun night out. You can read more about that flagship format on the singles mixers page.
Some nights are planned for a crowd closer to your stage of life. Oakland United Brewing's July night was an age edition, and the singles events over 35 page explains how those work. The May mixer at the same brewery was an LGBTQ+ singles mixer, part of the roughly monthly LGBTQ+ nights that rotate around the Bay Area.
Alex R., talking about Singles Mingle mixers in general, put it this way: "I met amazing people at Singles Mingle! The mixers are fun and a great way to connect."
