How a Concord Mixer Fits Into Your Weekend
Most Singles Mingle nights run on a three hour window. Friday and Saturday mixers tend to start in the evening, at 6, 7 or 7:30 PM, and wrap three hours later. Sunday editions are earlier and easier, often 3 to 6 PM, 4 to 7 PM or 5 to 8 PM, which leaves the rest of your night free and means nobody is up late before Monday.
That rhythm matters more than people expect. A Sunday afternoon mixer is a gentle first try if you are nervous about going alone. The light is still out, the room feels casual, and you can stop by for an hour if that is all you are up for. A Saturday evening has more of a night out feeling, which is great once you have a little confidence.
Concord is also easy to fit in logistically. Two BART stations serve the city, Concord and North Concord, both on the Yellow Line. Highway 4 runs along the north edge of town and I-680 runs down the west side, so drivers from Walnut Creek, Lafayette and nearby towns have a straight shot. Downtown is built around Todos Santos Plaza, a familiar meeting point with restaurants and bars around the square. Most locals also know the Concord Pavilion out toward Mount Diablo, a familiar name for summer concerts.
Whatever the day, the routine is the same. You RSVP on the event page with your name and email, adding a phone number only if you like, and you'll get a confirmation email. Then you show up, look for the Singles Mingle host, say hi, and get the conversation started.
Side Gate Brew and Beer Garden, Then Roadside for 35 & Up
The Concord lineup in 2026 started outdoors. Side Gate Brew and Beer Garden hosted Concord mixers in May and August. A beer garden is a friendly setting for a first mixer. People move around, there is space to step in and out of conversations, and nobody feels pinned to a barstool. Those were general nights rather than age editions, the flagship 21 & Up format you can read about on the singles mixers page.
Roadside takes the next Concord date on Sunday, November 15. That one is a 35 & Up edition with $10 at the door, paid in person when you arrive. There is no online payment on the site, ever. Age editions are about putting you in a crowd closer to your stage of life, not about turning anyone away, and the singles events over 35 page explains the range of editions Adeline runs.
If neither date lines up with your calendar, Concord has plenty of neighbors. The Walnut Creek singles events page covers the Renaissance Hotel and Headlands Brewery nights a short hop south on 680, and the Lafayette singles events page covers the Lafayette Park Hotel mixer farther down the BART line. Singles farther east along Highway 4 will find Concord is usually the closest mixer, and the cities page maps out the rest of the region.
